New Restrictions Mean Airport Lines

Airline shares fell in Monday morning trading on fears that new security restrictions swiftly implemented following a botched attempt to blow up an airliner could curtail business travel on lucrative international routes. The first paragraph of this story tells it all, Profit before real security.

Napolitano: Airline Security System 'Did Not Work'

They are very successful at getting hundreds of thousands of Americans to take off their shoes and throw out their lotion, but they cant keep a person on a watch list from boarding. I suspect that their response to this latest attack will be to pose more draconian ristrictions on the average Customer.

Ian Baker Finch, CBS Golf Analyst: 'One Word About Tiger, I Will Get Fired'

And so you should be, Are you paid as a golf analyst or a gossip columnist. This is a lesson for all the Greats. When you are on top of your game everyone lines up to kiss your ass, but one false move and you will quickly learn how many jealous haters are ready, willing, and able to ponce on any chance to put you down. An Elected President of The United States had More support from the American Public after betraying the Trust of The Nation with an Imoral act on a young Intern, than that given to Tiger Woods (a golfer who commited adultery). You figure it out.

Congress Drafts Bill To Turn Volume Down On TV Commercials

I'm not a big television watcher but I must admit this is a good move by Congress. There is nothing more infuriating than watching a movie at normal volume and suddenly being blasted by some obnoxious commercial with deafening sound. I cant understand why they believe that its good for the product. Sure it catches your attention, but it only serves to connect my feelings of extreme annoyance to what ever product that they are trying to push.

Rare Tree Stolen From Seattle Arboretum, Probably For Christmas Tree

I hope the thief gets to know how He/She Destroyed a Rare Species for their own selfish wants, that would be punishment enough. If by chance that knowledge doesn't bother them its still ok, that would mean that they were already destined for Hell.

Reid: Senate Health Care Deal 'Better Than The Public Option'

I dont know if the proposed new deal is good, bad, or indifferent. What I do know is that the Republicans Strategy has worked. Not the Strategy of eliminating the "Public Option", but the Strategy of hyping up the importance of a Phase or specific plan to the point of which no matter how the final bill reads; with out that Phase or specific plan included it is considered a defeat. President Obama was right to try and play down the importance of "Public Option" and up the importance of starting the process of giving much needed health coverage to millions of Americans. There is no such animal as too little improvement or progress, any movement foward is a win. Maybe with the Republicans Dancing over the Defeat of a Phrase, we can start the process of moving foward with Health Care. Thats if the people for Health Care do not continue to focus and fight each other and the Administration over inclusion of one specific plan.

Florida Judge Orders Makeup Artist To Cover Defendant's Neo-Nazi Tattoos

Why not have a Plastic Surgeon make Charles Manson look more friendly, why not put all people of color in white face before a deep south trial, why not remove scars from all crime victims if they intend to come to the trial of their attacker, why not forbid crying at trials under penalty of imprisonment. If this Judges' descision doen't warrant a misstrial after any descision I dont know what does. If found Innocent (the Judge helped hide evidence of character from the Jury), if found Guilty (the Judge was offended by the sight of the defendent and did not make fair rulings). My guest is the former.

Russell Wiseman, Tennessee Mayor, Assails 'Muslim President' For Pre-Empting 'Peanuts'

It is remarkable that an elected politician, (or any American for that matter) would think that a cartoon special is more important than The Nations Leader addressing the Public with Major decisions about an ongoing war affecting the lives of thousands of American Soldiers.

Biden's White House Role Changes With Afghan Decision

Its an idiotic assertion that the Vice President's Standing, Credibility, or Value of imput is somehow diminished because he is not completely in line with a policy decision of the President or other Staff Members. Biden is a good man and an excellent pick For VP to President Obama, his duty is to voice his concerns and positions and then stand by and support whatever decision the President makes in the end.

Obama's Afghan War Plan: Nine Key Points

Anti War Legistrators? Where the hell were they hiding before the Iraq War, which created this entire mess? Under the Rock of Political Expediency? As for the Afghan War being reborn, someone should explain to the Soldiers who have been fighting and dying there for years that we considered it a non event until Politicians decided to start talking about it again. Shameful!
