Reid: Senate Health Care Deal 'Better Than The Public Option'

I dont know if the proposed new deal is good, bad, or indifferent. What I do know is that the Republicans Strategy has worked. Not the Strategy of eliminating the "Public Option", but the Strategy of hyping up the importance of a Phase or specific plan to the point of which no matter how the final bill reads; with out that Phase or specific plan included it is considered a defeat. President Obama was right to try and play down the importance of "Public Option" and up the importance of starting the process of giving much needed health coverage to millions of Americans. There is no such animal as too little improvement or progress, any movement foward is a win. Maybe with the Republicans Dancing over the Defeat of a Phrase, we can start the process of moving foward with Health Care. Thats if the people for Health Care do not continue to focus and fight each other and the Administration over inclusion of one specific plan.
